I am PG student and doing dissertation on "LULC change detection and its effects on Ground water". I need a current and past satellite image of the same area to find out LULC change. Will you please tell me how to download past satellite image of about 10 years back.

Visit bhuvan noeda http://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/data for past satellite images to download. If the sattellite imagery required by you is not available there, then you may need to buy the data by writing to sales[at]nrsc[dot]]gov[dot]in.

LULC thematic maps are directly avaiable in two scales 1:50K and 1:250K at http://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/gis Bhuvan Thematic services. Here you can visulaize them, consume as OGC WMS service or place a request for download(only 1:250K map).
