Hello Every one,
I am presently doing my masters at IIT Bombay in Remote Sensing. I am working on my thesis, where I am planning to study and project the land use land cover of Mumbai Region. for this I need to have certain reference to compare my land use land cover classification results. I heard from one of my friend that I can get land use land cover maps of Mumbai region for any year directly from Bhuvan, can someone guide me how to download them to justify my classification? Awaiting your reply. Thank you.
with regards,
Sravan Chintaparthi.
Can I get classified land use maps from Bhuvan?
Re: Can I get classified land use maps from Bhuvan?
LULC data is available in two scales (1:50K) and (1:250k)
available at http://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/gis - Thematic services of Bhuvan
you can place a request for LULC-250k for download using 'Get Data' option, after signing MOU with NRSC you will be available to download the data.
you can also take the LULC (both 50k ad 250k layers) as 'Webservice' and bring it to your GIS software. see this post - http://bhuvan-forum.nrsc.gov.in/guest/v ... p?f=3&t=33 for reference.
Hope this is helpful.
