Is it possible to upload a KML file, just like in google earth, so as to view some path. KML file contains the latitude, longitude and altitude values in a specific xml like format.

Yes you can uplaod KML file using Add Layer option under tools.

I insert kml file as POI in my application but after uploading website on nic server it is not showing icon or table. but its working in my local server.

Probably it is because the style tag in the KML file may be referring to the icon from local system. Try modifying the style tag.
