In continuation to Tourism Web GIS for Punjab Tourism Development Board, "Bhuvan-Karnataka Forest" has been released in collaboration with Karnataka Forest Department, on October 12, 2012 having the features of 'Know Your Forest, Active Fire Mapper, Asset Management, Change Monitoring, Greening India, Wild Life, User Data Upload'. This portal can be accessed through Bhuvan quick links page or through this direct link.

Disaster Management Information Support
The Disaster Management Support (DMS) Programme of ISRO, commits to providing timely support and services from space systems for strengthening the disaster management in the country. The Decision Support Centre(DSC) , at NRSC is the single window of ISRO to provide the information for efficient disaster management. At the moment, Flood and Forest Fire data is available in Bhuvan for users having the plan to update Cyclone, Drought, Earthquake, Landslide in near future.

Facilitates to connect with external WMS providers to bring data on Bhuvan 2D and users can also submit the URL for other users' access with authentication

Enhanced Shape file creation utility
Draw Utility with online shape file creation utility in Bhuvan 2D is enhanced with editing capability along with smooth navigation while drawing.
