National Urban Information System (NUIS) on Bhuvan
NUIS is a National Mission initiated by Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) in 2006 for Generation of multiscale Hierarchial Urban Geospatial Database on Thematic content. NUIS Database (Urban Land Use 1:10000 scale) of 130 towns have been uploaded on Bhuvan under the Thematic Services Category.
This data can be viewed at Bhuvan Thematic services by Selecting the Theme “Urban Land Use (10K): NUIS” and then the respective State and Town.

Amritsar Tourism WebGIS Portal released
On the occasion of United Nations World's Tourism Day, Tourism Web GIS for Amritsar town is released under Bhuvan Projects towards spatial Mashup, in collaboration with Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC). This portal can be accessed through Bhuvan quick links page or through this direct link.

NRSC Open EO Data Archive (NOEDA) completes one year
NOEDA will complete its first year on 29th September, 2012, facilitating the users to free download satellite data and products. In one year, more than 72,000 data products have been downloaded from the website including Cartosat DEM (20373 tiles), AWiFS (7099 tiles), LISS-III (45561 tiles), and Vegetation Fraction and NDVI products (582 images).

On this occasion we invite all the users to share their usage of these satellite data products with us at Bhuvan Discussion forum. -Success stories
