WMS Manager In continuation to the enrichment of Bhuvan 2D with new tools and utilities, WMS Manager utility is incorporated in Bhuvan 2D facilitating listing of layers available through WMS Service providers. The WMS layers can be accessed through services published in Bhuvan catalogue or user can input WMS URL. Options to add/remove as WMS layer on Bhuvan (Projection ESPG:4326) and persistence of layers listed, layers added for user convenience until explicitly removed. Supports listing of layers from multiple service providers. Provision for sharing of WMS Service with community through Bhuvan Catalogue after authentication. ![]() |
Add Layer Add Layer option enables user to add desired thematic/geographic information which is in Shapefile or WMS Layer and helps in analyzing the result. In this, Uploading Shapefile option enables the users to import and visualize data from shapefile with any projection as a overlay layer on Bhuvan-2D and feature information can be identified by clicking on layer. Option to choose specific color from color picker while uploading shapefile for better visualization and layer identification. Users input must be in zip file containing .shp,.prj,.dbf,.shx files only. ![]() |
