Bhuvan Minor Irrigation is a web-based platform which provides visualization of minor irrigation in rural and urban area in India. The portal provides detailed information about minor irrigation site like ownership type, Nate of water body, major use, storage capacity etc.
Bhuvan is a Geoportal of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).Bhuvan 2D is one of the major component of the Bhuvan portal. Initial version of Bhuvan 2D demanded the more user interactive platform with current design and trends. Thus the new version of Bhuvan 2D i.e. Bhuvan 2D 2.0 is envisaged with current material design trends and more innovative and user interactive features. This portal will provide the services offered by existing Bhuvan 2D with new look and feel.
Scientific rule sets based on LULC, Slope, Soil and DEM data are integrated to provide probable locations for the planning of 101 NRM activities in the permissible work list at the panchayat level. The data has been currently integrated for 29 states and UTs. Additional modules like Dynamic Contour Generation and Segmentation modules have also been updated to the portal.
Pocket Bhuvan is a mobile application that provides features of Bhuvan to the users in hand held devices. Directions and proximity are the major features which users require mostly. The directions feature is enhanced with voice guided navigation with turn-by-turn instructions for driving along with live traffic information. The application can be downloaded from the MSeva Application Store.
AWiFS (56m) Data acquired during month of October and December of year 2022 and month of January and February of year 2023 are now available on Bhuvan.
LiSS III (24m) Data acquired during the last quarter of year 2022 and first quarter of year 2023 are now available on Bhuvan
